Saying good-bye to our Leyland Daf

We spent our first months back in the UK working to get the truck back into shape.  Once again, thanks to our good friend Ronnie for his tireless help, and endless patience in teaching me all sorts of skills that I will probably never need again.

We do still plan to drive to India (honest!) but the COVID-stricken world is not yet ready for journeys that cross multiple borders.  So, with a heavy heart, rather than allow the truck to rot away in the damp English climate, we decided to sell it; intending to buy a replacement when the world returns to ‘normal’.  We hope that the new owner, Jonathan, loves it as much as we did!

In the meantime, after a year and one day, we are back on the road.  We are heading west rather than east; having rented an RV in the USA for three months with the intention of driving from Florida to Seattle.
